As Project Engineer, you provide technical support and coordination of specific engineering tasks.  You ensure all technical deliverables are executed to the highest level of performance and quality possible.

Essential Skills, & Qualifications

  • Possesses an excellent manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude and proven trouble-shooting skills
    · Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities in a fast-changing environment
    · Excellent command of the MS suite, and working knowledge of Solidworks
    · Local, and occasional international travel is required
    · Located within 40 minutes of Brantford preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of Engineering experience in a technical leadership capacity
  • Has successfully completed a University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering / Automation Technology or equivalent experience
  • Formal project management training through PMI or equivalent, PMP is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight of the project scope to ensure all equipment and services provided meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitors quality and performance of the engineering/design scope
  • Assists project team in facilitation and resolution of any technical open issues
  • Manages and approves final technical documents prior to submission to customer
  • Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    · Interacts with customers & vendors
    · Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings

  • Walk up to 5 km per day & Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and work at heights (training will be provided if required)
  • Work in confined spaces (training will be provided if required)
  • React quickly to sounds
  • Wear protective gear, including safety shoes, glasses, vests, and masks as required
